Call for Proposals
Empowering Change-Making Organizations with
Free Software Development
SICI* Tech 4 Change Labs is proud to launch the Oasis Expedition program, designed to developing a tailored software solution with one mid-sized organization to address a widespread challenge within the change-making sector.
As part of this program, we not only provide the software development at no cost, but we also collaborate closely with the selected organization, offering ongoing technical support and helping to create sustainable revenue streams for their operations.
Selection Criteria
Proposals will be assessed based on the following key factors:
Sector Need: How critical is the proposed solution to addressing challenges within the sector?
Applicability and Scalability: How adaptable is the solution to the needs of other organizations facing similar challenges?
Impact on Organizational Capacity: How will the software improve the organization’s operations, efficiency, and overall impact?
NGO Participation in Development: The organization’s involvement in the development process, including providing initial information, supporting testing phases, and collaborating throughout the project.
We encourage all eligible organizations to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their technological capabilities and further their missions
Eligibility
We invite proposals from organizations of any size, any formal or non formal entity, any experience level, and any domain as long as the needs are clearly defined, evidence-based, and the organization can clearly articulate both the problem and the proposed solution. We are looking for organizations that can benefit from custom-built digital tools and are committed to actively participating in the development process.
Please keep in mind:
Participation: Organizations must dedicate time during the development phase for initial product design, testing, iterations, and documentation regarding the product.
Prioritization: While we encourage applications from all organizations, those working with marginalized communities, women, and youth-led organizations will be prioritized in the assessment process. However, this does not guarantee selection.
Country of Origin: Organizations from Turkey will have 1 guaranteed spot. Applications from Ukraine will be assessed and given priority. Any other countries are welcome to apply for the last spot.

How to submit your proposal?
1. Prepare Your Proposal: Ensure your submission clearly defines the organizational need, the proposed software solution, and provides evidence-based reasoning for the impact of the project. Include details about your organization, your target beneficiaries, and how the software will enhance your operational capacity.
2. Application Form: Complete the online application form available at here. Please download the document and ensure all required sections are filled out thoroughly.
3.Supporting Documents: Attach any supporting documents that provide further details on your organization, past projects, or data that support the need for the proposed solution. These can include project descriptions, impact reports, or case studies
Submit Your Proposal: Once your proposal and all required documents are complete, submit them via email to XXXXXXXX . Ensure all files are correctly formatted and attached.
Confirmation: After submission, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your proposal.
Deadline: All submissions must be received by 19 April 2025, 23:59 TR Time. Late submissions will not be considered.
